Is the estimate really free?

You are also not required to be home, though most people prefer to be there so they can point out the specific spots that have been bothering them.
How long does the visit take?
About twenty minutes for a straightforward single-story home, and closer to forty for a two-story with a complex roofline or an existing system that needs diagnosing.
Most of that time is measuring runs, counting corners and drops, and probing the fascia. The number itself takes a couple of minutes once the measurements exist.
Will the price change after the estimate?
Not unless the scope changes. The four things that move a gutter price are total footage, corner count, downspout drops, and fascia condition — and we measure all four before quoting.
The one genuine exception is rot found underneath a run that could not be assessed until the old gutter came down. If that happens, work stops and you get a revised number to approve before anything continues.
Do you pressure people into deciding on the spot?
No. There are no same-day-only discounts and no financing presentation at your kitchen table. The price we give you is the price next week.
We will follow up once, in case the quote got buried in an inbox. If we do not hear back after that, we leave it alone.
What should I have ready?
Nothing formal. It helps to know roughly how old the current gutters are, whether you have had any repairs done recently, and where you have noticed overflow, staining, or water pooling.
If gates need unlocking or dogs need bringing in for us to walk the full perimeter, that is the main practical thing to sort before we arrive.
How soon can someone come out?
It depends on the season and where you are in the service area. Tell us how urgent it is when you get in touch — active water intrusion or storm damage is treated differently from a gutter that has been sagging for a year.
The two busiest windows in the CSRA are right after pollen season in late spring and immediately after the pine straw drop in late fall. Booking ahead of those two stretches is the single best way to avoid a wait.
